Dicks is the author of two previous novels, Something Missing and Unexpectedly Milo. Along the way, he falls in love with a beautiful reptilian (though quite human-looking in appearance) princess, and that drives the story for the better part of the novel. Her parents and grandmother have been dead for years, leaving her in the hands of a system that doesn’t seem to care what happens to her. Another awesome cookbook by Southern Living. Definitely a good buy.
